We thought it was high time to formally introduce you to our team, as we have expanded in the past year and added some wonderful assets to our Gathered family. For the next few weeks, we’ll get to know each invaluable team member and learn more about what they love! First, let’s start with the founder of Gathered and our amazing leader, Lindsey Cheek.
Last week’s before and after post was so well received that we decided to dive right into another one. The before images from #clientarboretumdrive are somewhat painful – we can say that because our clients bought the house in this way and it was not their choice of decor. We stripped down the space of its dated, floral-heavy decor and incorporated a modern, coastal feel.
Are y’all ready for an incredible before and after? We dug up some photos of #clientbeachroadnorth before we got our hands on her and we’re so excited to share these images.
Lindsey and Grayson have two awesome kids, Tilley-Gray and Maines. When it came time to design their rooms, Lindsey created stylish, fun spaces for both of them. Each bedroom suits her kids’ personalities and the shared bathroom is not only playful but also super functional. Read on to get Lindsey’s take on designing these spaces.
We’re thrilled to introduce our new set of services for those of you who need a little nudge in the right (stylish!) direction or simply just a second opinion on the direction of your design project. Many people believe that hiring an interior designer is only necessary when doing a new build or embarking on a huge renovation.
MISSIO Hair products not only make your locks soft, manageable and beautiful, but these products also contribute to the fight against human trafficking. Based right here in our hometown of Wilmington, NC, husband and wife team Lorin and Kyle Van Zandt founded MISSIO with a three tiered approach.
Lindsey’s master suite at #projectcheekwood was one of the biggest transformations as it used to be the formal living room. She and her husband Grayson decided to convert it (and an attached sun porch) into their stunning master suite. We’re detailing the before and after of #projectcheekwood master suite in today’s blog post.
We had a blast collaborating on styling an outdoor entertaining area with our sweet and stylish friend Zelle Wiggins, the owner of Zia Boutique and blogger of Southern Style. Zelle recently purchased a new outdoor seating set, so we worked with a blank slate to create a festive, beautiful setting for any warm weather get-together. We nailed down 5 essential pieces to add to your outdoor area, whether it be a screened in porch or sun drenched patio. All of these pretty accessories can be purchased here at Gathered.
Who’s excited for the second installment of Before + After: #projectcheekwood? As Lindsey’s home will prove, the way that people used to utilize their kitchen has completely evolved over the past century. The kitchen in her house was dark, tiny and isolated from the rest of the living space. Lindsey worked her magic and now the kitchen is bright, happy and located in the heart of the home. Today on the blog, we’re going to focus on the transformation of the kitchen and dining area at #projectcheekwood.
We’re thrilled to share an inside peek into the before and after process of #projectcheekwood, Lindsey’s own home, which is currently featured in the new issue of Southern Living. The 1928 home had great bones but needed TONS of work. Lindsey and her husband Grayson worked closely with the architect and builder to create a home that would be perfect for their young family. For the next several weeks, we’ll feature a Q&A with Lindsey on the blog and get her personal take on each room in the house. Today, we’re going to focus on the entry hall and living room.
