Who’s excited for the second installment of Before + After: #projectcheekwood? As Lindsey’s home will prove, the way that people used to utilize their kitchen has completely evolved over the past century. The kitchen in her house was dark, tiny and isolated from the rest of the living space. Lindsey worked her magic and now the kitchen is bright, happy and located in the heart of the home. Today on the blog, we’re going to focus on the transformation of the kitchen and dining area at #projectcheekwood.
We’re thrilled to share an inside peek into the before and after process of #projectcheekwood, Lindsey’s own home, which is currently featured in the new issue of Southern Living. The 1928 home had great bones but needed TONS of work. Lindsey and her husband Grayson worked closely with the architect and builder to create a home that would be perfect for their young family. For the next several weeks, we’ll feature a Q&A with Lindsey on the blog and get her personal take on each room in the house. Today, we’re going to focus on the entry hall and living room.
Hi everyone! I want to warmly welcome you to the new blog for Gathered and also re-introduce myself. I’m Lindsey Cheek, the prinicpal designer and owner of Gathered, a full-service interior design studio and curated home store. While we have loads of exciting news and inspiration to share with you, I want to make sure that you all feel welcome in this space and also in my shop. After all, I’d never have someone into my home without first offering a hand-shake (or hug!) and some good ol’ southern hospitality.
